Service Description
Ink-lings emails journaling prompts based on the categories and schedule you choose. We record prompt delivery and your preferences. We do not store your journal entries.
User Accounts
- Registration: You must provide accurate information.
- Security: You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
- Eligibility: You must be 13+ (or the local digital-consent age in your country) to use the Service.
Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:- Use the Service for illegal purposes.
- Harass, abuse, or harm others.
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
- Share your account with others.
- Use automated tools to access the Service.
No Medical / Mental-Health Advice
Ink-lings provides creative prompts for personal reflection. It is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional care.
License & Intellectual Property
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. The Ink-lings name, logo, designs, and site content are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.
Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. It explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Service Availability
- “As is”: The Service is provided as-is.
- No guarantees about uptime or availability.
- Changes: We may modify or discontinue the Service with notice when practical.
User Content & Feedback
- Journal entries: Stored locally by you; we do not collect or monitor your entries.
- You own your content.
- Feedback: If you send suggestions or ideas about Ink-lings, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them to improve the Service.
Payment & Donations
- Voluntary: Donations are optional and generally non-refundable except where required by law.
- Processor: Payments are handled securely by Stripe; we do not store card details.
- No subscription required to use the Service.
Termination
- You may delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the Service.
- Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.
Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and notices survive termination.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Ink-lings and its operators harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Maximum liability: the amount you paid us (if any) in the preceding 12 months.
- We do not guarantee the Service will meet your needs or be uninterrupted or error-free.
Notices
We may provide notices by email to your account address or by posting within the Service. You consent to receive electronic communications from us related to your use of the Service.
Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time.
- Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, USA. Exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in Johnson County, Kansas. You agree to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
